Letter, 1796 February 26.

Letter to Nathaniel Lawrence, a member of the New York State Assembly, congratulating him on his appointment as the District Attorney for the Southern District. Bailey requests that Lawrence inform him as to the duties and functions of the District Attorney's office. He also discusses his dissappointment at some political appointments recently made in New York State. Written at Philadelphia, Penn.
